Mourning Helps Relationships

 

Grief (or mourning) can be helpful for a time when life simply doesn't go your way. Today, I tell the story of someone whose grief arose because of a difficulty within an important relationship. Mourning helped him understand the situation with more clarity and calm.

Her humorous book, Dying for Attention: A Graphic Memoir of Nursing Home Care, follows her nine-year journey shepherding her mother through a callous long-term care system.
