May Ellen is an anthropologist and Professor in Palliative Medicine at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She holds the J & W Murphy Foundation Endowed Chair in Palliative Care. Susan is a social work researcher at Renison University College in Waterloo, Ontario.
