FAQs

Who can add an event?

Anyone who is committed to building grief literacy anywhere in Nova Scotia. We are also happy to include New Brunswick! We hope to expand to other locations in the future.

How do I add an event?

Fill out the form found here. Reach out to us if you have any questions (contact). We will follow up with you to make sure we have all the necessary information before we post your activity.

What does suggesting an event with GGNS provide?

Our site is simply a location for advertising your activity. You are responsible for the creative programming and its execution. Additional advertising is up to you, as is managing your attendees (e.g., numbers, fees, registration). We are available for brainstorming content, formats, and logistics – please reach out if you need a sounding board, or assistance if you need your event ticketed (even if it’s free).

If I’m hosting an event, what if I have to cancel my event, or change some of the details?

We can post updates on our site. We are not responsible for liaising with your attendees, however; it is your responsibility to manage your speakers and/or attendees.

What if my event is before or after Sept 23 - 30, 2023?

That’s fine! Register anyway, and we’ll include your activity in a special ‘spillover’ page.

What if I can’t afford to attend an event that has a fee?

Contact us and we’ll talk!

Will there be virtual options?

Yes – some events will be virtual, some will be hybrid, and some will be in-person. Details will be listed with each event.
